The castle's most famous owner was a burlesque actor who modernized the interior in 1932, incorporating large bathrooms with fayence tiles and modern facilities. In the early 2000s, the castle underwent comprehensive renovation, preserving its original stylistic features while integrating state-of-the-art technology beneath the surface.
